Light of the Last

This is a bittersweet review for me. Light of the Last, by Chuck Black is the riveting conclusion to the Wars of the Realm series. This story picks up where book two left off, in an FBI interrogation room. Through a series of twists and turns, Drew finds himself working for the CIA. It appears that the dark invaders are even more set upon the
task of terminating Drew than they were before. From coffee shop bombings to deadly epidemics, the forces of evil will stop at nothing to extinguish the flame of this man, the light of the last.
As Drew flirts with danger, Validus and his band of mighty warriors must work overtime to insure his safety, for the outcome of millenniums of plots, both good and evil, rests solely upon his shoulders. But the stalwart commander and his men are beginning to fade. When Drew begins to question his own sanity and decides that they are no longer existent, Validus and his team must strive to protect a man that does not desire protection.
Will Drew discover the identity of his invisible guardians on time? What about the elusive truth regarding his handler? Will millenniums of history finally come to a close? Can Drew assemble a team and save America before utter pandemonium envelopes her? You will have to read this spellbinding novel to find out!
I received this book at no charge to me in exchange for an honest review through the Blogging for Books program (which is really awesome and you should check it out! Bloggingforbooks.org). All of the opinions contained are mine. I was not required to post a positive review.
