I recently read this book and thought that it had a good story-line. I was, however, somewhat disappointed by the quality of the writing. I expected much better from the rave reviews. It was very obviously written by a Christian, which is great as I am one myself, but a Bible verse on almost every page can get annoying!
On a different note, I really liked the fact that it had a strong Christian flavor. Leah was not afraid to allow her faith to shine through, albeit a little too much :). I would probably not re-read this one, but I would recommend it to a friend. This book is a tale of faith, family, love, endurance, and undying loyalty.
